Set of two vintage Tonka pressed-steel front end loaders, both finished in yellow and black with articulated steering and tipping front buckets.
The larger loader has a long wheelbase, a steering wheel visible on top, and a hinged bucket arm that lifts and tips. The smaller loader is marked Tonka and XR-101 on the tyres and bodywork, with a shorter wheelbase and similar tipping bucket mechanism.
Both are made from pressed steel with plastic wheels, typical of 1970s Tonka construction toys. They display genuine play wear from age and use, including scuffed paint and some surface rust, as shown in the photos.
A great pair for a collector of vintage Tonka construction toys or for a child who enjoys classic metal toy vehicles.
Condition: Fair
Condition Details: Both vintage pressed-steel loaders show significant play wear consistent with age: scratches, scuffs, paint loss and surface rust in places, especially on the buckets and chassis undersides. Decals are faded or partially worn on the smaller loader. All wheels are present and rotate, and the hydraulic-style lift arms move on both models. No major structural damage, cracks or missing parts are visible, but expect general wear throughout.
