Stoneware ginger beer bottle made for Boots Cash Chemists, with a tan glazed neck and a cream body printed with a shield reading 'Old Fashioned Brewed Ginger Beer' and the Boots script logo. The bottle comes in its original Boots Company presentation box, with a cream satin lining and a silver-edged navy cover. An 'A Piece Of History' card inside explains that the bottle is one of a collection of stoneware bottles recovered from the cellars of the former Boots head office at Station Street, Nottingham. It dates from the turn of the century and was found when building work uncovered it in May 1996. - Bottle height approximately 17 cm (measured against the ruler in the photos) - Printed Boots Cash Chemists shield design - Supplied in the Boots Company presentation box with history card - The 'Presented to' lines on the card have been left blank - Suitable for display or for collectors of Boots memorabilia and stoneware bottles

Condition: Very Good
Condition Details: The stoneware bottle has an intact glossy glaze and clear, sharp black transfer printing. There are some light surface marks, small dark speckles and minor wear on the base, in keeping with its age. No cracks or chips are visible. The presentation box has light surface marks and some wear to the silver edging, but the satin lining and the 'A Piece Of History' card are in good order. The 'Presented to' lines on the card are blank.
