Pair of antique porcelain figurines depicting a seated girl and boy in Victorian-style dress, each incorporating a small spill vase or posy holder in the form of a woven basket. Hand-painted detailing in red, white and gold tones with floral motifs on the clothing. Each figure is mounted on a rocky base with an additional small vase-like opening. Both pieces are marked on the base with impressed numbers (4230 and 4280) and one bears a small shield-shaped maker's mark. Approximate height 14-15cm. Sold as a pair.
Condition: Fair
Condition Details: Both figurines show visible age-related wear. There is a small chip to the rim of the basket on one figurine and visible fine cracks running through the baskets on both. Some minor surface marks and rubbing to the paint can be seen throughout. Sold as antique collectibles in used condition.
